Homecoming Quilts

2009 is the year of Homecoming for everyone with Scottish connections or a love of Scotland, the world over.  Many special, linked events are planned around Scotland during 2009, and the Loch Lomond Quilt Show directors Isabel, Patricia and Ruth decided to join in with their own special event for quilters around the world - 'Homecoming Quilts'. 

Entry to the competition is open to any quilter (whether first timer or expert) anywhere in the world outside Scotland.  Entry information is available on the exhibitions page along with the entry form.  By the 31 January 2009 all entries will be featured on the gallery pages of this website, and 25 quilts will be chosen to come home to Scotland to be exhibited at the 2009 Loch Lomond Quilt Show.  The 25 quilts will also be featured in a new book (to be published in May 2009) entitled “Homecoming Quilts”. 

We are longing to see your quilts, and to hear your stories of your connection to Scotland or your love for Scotland.
